Chobots Seek Victory!

Hello Chobots!

I am happy to announce, thanks to your remarkable skills and courage, King Nicho and his Nicho clan have retreated from Chobots and they are in hiding at the moment! Also, Max, Sheridan, and myself have escaped from the evil Nicho's lair and we're now free from the Nichos! We really appreciate your help and your bravery!

Trading Guide

Hi Chobots! We’ve noticed some issues in the community recently, and we’d like to help you out the best way we can.

In the past couple of weeks, we’ve been noticing a lot of users were being tricked, or scammed into giving up their items. Being that we allow trading I am going to explain on what you should do before you make a trade with another Chobots.net user.

First off, Trading on Chobots has been around since the gifting feature became available, users would go through their items and select an item that they would like to trade to obtain a different item of the same value from another user. Once the users have selected the items that they would like to offer up for trade, they’ll then select on who goes first. Now this is where a lot of users are going wrong, and are getting tricked. Remember trading is allowed; however, it is very risky to trade with a user with whom you cannot trust. Trust is a key factor when it comes to trading. If you cannot trust the user; please deny the trade no matter how good the offer is.

Now that you know how to seek out scammers, here’s how to prevent one from tricking you:

When a user asks you to trade make sure you find out what item they would like to trade first. Scammers will often beg you to go first, once you notice the user asking you to go first before you can finalize the trade instantly deny, all they want to do is take your item. Scammers will also introduce perks within the trade for an example, “If you go first I’ll buy you citizenship,” this is against the rules, and you should instantly report them for attempting to bribe you to access your account. Please remember to obtain proof (screenshots are acceptable) so we can review the situation and deal with the offending user. Always keep your password to yourself, do not share it with anyone. If you’re willing to trade but cannot trust the user, seek help from the community. The community users will let you know on if that user is trustable or not.

If you are worried about going first, don’t do it. Always go with your gut instinct, if you feel as if the user will scam you do not proceed with the trade. Kindly ask the user to go first, if he/she declines no worries, at least you get to keep your item and adventure on to finding a better offer for your item that you wish to trade.

We are going to be introducing a trading feature allowing citizens to trade safely and not having to worry about losing their item to a scammer in the near future. Until then, please be aware of the users you wish to trade with. We’d also would like to inform you that we as Chobots staff members cannot do anything about a trade gone wrong, we clearly state it in the rules that if you’re going to trade it is at your own risk. Please avoid emailing the support team about a trade attempt gone wrong being that have tons of other emails to respond to. Below is the official rule on trading, be sure to re-read it to avoid any confusion on trading.

Gifting: Chobots currently offers exclusive Citizens the ability to gift. Gifting is meant to be used responsibly. "Gift for Gift" (trading one item for another) is allowed, but the Chobots Team will not be held accountable if you or another Chobot has been scammed. You take full responsibility of where and to who you send your items. Be careful!

Lastly, we've created a new section on the Chobots Forum where users can list items they'd like to get and item's they'd be willing to trade. Users are free to post any kinds of offers they'd like, but please remember to make fair deals, otherwise users may not want to trade with you anymore!

Are you ready?

It's once again time for another fun night of games! That's right, it's time for our last game night for February!

For those who doesn't know what game night is, game night is where every game in the world of Chobots is open for 2 hours and those who get 1st in the competitions will receive cool prizes like the game controller, some bugs, and citizenship! So if you would like to participate in game night, all games will open at 7:15 PM Cho-Time. If you are having trouble figuring out how much time there is left until the games open, you can use this countdown clock:
Also, the Chobots team will be around Chobots making sure there is no cheating. Cheating in the game night will result in disqualification in any competition. If you happen to find someone cheating during the game night; please email support@chobots.net with proof.

Make Your Own Sticker!

Hello Chobots!

I was going through some old pictures from Chobots, when I saw a big cake in a shape of a Chobot named 3looi.

Here it is:

That made me think about all the fun things we can make at our home, and I came up with an interesting idea. Chobots stickers!

You can decorate your room, notebooks, boxes, walls et cetera!

Putting these stickers does NOT harm any materials as they are NOT being glued to them. You can take the stickers off at any time without damaging the item that it is placed on.

Here is what you will need:

•    sticky colored paper (the one on which you have to take the back side off to get to the sticky one. The back should be sticky on the WHOLE paper, not just the top part like on the sticky-notes)


•    a pencil


•    an eraser


•    a ruler


•    paper any size, depending on the width and height of the color paper


•    crayons


•    glue  


•    scissors

Today I am making Chobots spaceship sticker, but you can make anything else that you like!
Follow these steps to create your own Chobots sticker:

1. Place your sticky colored paper  ( I chose blue one, you can choose any color you like) on your white paper to see how wide and high your drawing can be. 

2. Draw anything you like, I decided to draw a spaceship with Chobot inside of it.

3. If you want your sticker to be cool and to stand out, use crayons and color it with some bright colors!

4. Use scissors and carefully cut off your colored drawing from the white paper. For safety matters, ask an adult to help you.

 

5. Great! Now that you have finished your drawing, place it on top of the BACK side of the sticky colored paper (on the side that you take off to get to the sticky layer) and go over the outline using  your pencil, so the shape of your drawing is on the back side of your sticky colored paper.

6. Carefully cut out the shape from the sticky colored paper so you get two same shaped papers. Ask an adult to help you if it is needed.

When you turn around the sticky colored paper it should look like this:

7.  Put glue on the front side (blue side) of your sticky colored paper.

8.  Place the drawing on the glued sticky colored paper and leave it to dry out for a few minutes.

It should look like this:

9. Take off the back white layer, so your drawing is sticky on one side. Take it off like this: 

(The side that is on the desk  is the drawing and sticky color paper glued together, the one that is being taken off is the white back of the colored sticky paper)

10. Now you are finished! 

If you have a drawing glued to the colored side of the colored sticky paper on one side, and sticky side   of the colored sticky paper on the other, you have successfully made your Chobots sticker!

You can also create different stickers! Take a look at the one I have made.

Pretty cool, right?

You can place them where ever you want, it's up to you to decide.

Journalist Blue's Story

Hi, BlueZoroGirl here!

Many of you guise call me the Queen of Style. Is that so? Then lets put your minds to the test! How about you all dress similar to my chobot. Whoever dresses the best like me, might get a gift from me! In any news, I wanted to share my story! Most of you have read it. I am only posting Chapter 1! I hope you guise enjoyyy!

Chapter 1:

Long ago, in a world that much people were not familiar with, was a place called "Chobots". Located right by the Milky Way. Now ,Chobots, have been located there, longer then Earth. Small, tiny, aliens roam this world. The aliens were known also as chobots. They are not evil, you see. However creatures called the "Nichos" are. Innocent chobots have sadly figured out that they are evil. For years, chobots have tried to have peace with Nichos, but more chobots missing in return. 

It has been like that for centuries, until one day, a new chobot came. Her name was BlueZoroGirl13. But her mother and father called her Blue for short. Blue was rather smart for her small age. She knew everything in less then a week. She knew more then her teacher, Mr. Choproff. Other students were jealous of her smartness, that they had grown to hate her. Although she did have 2 friends. A little boy, with light blue hair, named Pain, and a tiny little girl, with black hair, Vasa12345. (Vasa for short) Those two were also smart, and no one had liked them. So the three of them had stuck together.

They were still little kids, as Blue, Pain, and Vasa walked to the academy for their class. To get there, there was the Mission agency. Blue loved walking by there. Although she had never been inside. Her mother told her it was meant for older, wiser, chobots. Blue didn't seem to think it was fair. "Hey guise, lets go inside." She said. Pain and Vasa, froze, dead on their tracks. "B-but my mother told me not to go in there." Pain says with frightened eyes. Vasa nods in agreement. "C'mon guise, what's it gonna hurt, to take a small peek?" She persuades them. They gave in easily, simply because they were tiny, and didn't know better. "Okay, Just a peek." Vasa says. All three of them walk towards the door. It quickly opens, and they jump. They continue to walk though. Passing several cow missions. "All it is, is cow missions." Pain states. Blue looks a bit further. "Wait! Look!" She says pointing at the Nicho Cave. "Okay, I am NOT going in there." Vasa says. Blue had also thought it was a bad idea, when suddenly the Nicho door whooshes open.

Agent Team Nominations

Agents are some of the most respected members of the Chobots community. They are known for their hard work, dedication, commitment and enthusiasm. They're always willing to help a lost chobot find their way, and they love chatting with others and making sure they are having fun.

How do you become an agent? It's simple; be active in the community, follow the rules, get noticed, be friendly, and strive to make Chobots a better place. Usually the moderators discuss and pick who becomes an agent, but once a month they want to give everyone else an opportunity to say who they think deserves to become an agent.

So, who's got what it takes to become an agent? We want you to tell us who should become an agent, and why. Just leave a comment on this post with your nominations. Don't just nominate your friends - be fair and honest! That also means you are not allowed to ask people to nominate you. That will automatically disqualify you. Of course, you can nominate yourself, but that tells a lot about you.

Hey guys!

The Team is in a veeeery good mood this week. You know why? Because the Nichos have accepted the peace agreement. This is amazing news - now we won't have to worry about them spying on us or stealing Daisy's grass. Gune has been released, and now he can finally stop making hundreds of masks everyday. This is too good to be true.

Me : Q.1) If you had to rename this game what would you rename it as?
Spencer (Ans) : Thats really a good question , If I could I would probably rename the game as "PopBots" or maybe 'Friend/Funbots' Because they are such positive names ,like the people
Me : Q.2) What do you think makes this game different/unique from all other games?
Spencer (Ans) : I have 2 reasons :Reason 1.) The Magic!: The Magic!: I think it makes the game different from all the others because Of the magic, It is a uniquie experience where you can have animations appear on your screens and all of the different colours you can change the chobot world to! I also think the how we celebrate parties and the style of them is different too, especially with the 'Rain' Which makes claimable items fall fom the sky.Reason 2.)The people: I also think, what makes this game different is the people, I think that the people are really nice, and it kinda feels like we came from the same boat in life, I also think the people are really nice as everyone knows each other and is positive all the time, which really helps me as I go through depression in life, like not wanting to go to school. But chobots helps me as the staff and the chobots are just so kind!
Me : Q.3) What do you think is the best day for this game so far?
Spencer (Ans) : Well My favorite day on chobots that I have experienced is probably christmas day, I think that because everyone was in a merry mood and we were all postive and thinking of others before our selfs, I also enjoyed christmas as It seemed as everyone was having a good time and wishing others a great day, which made mine C:
Me : Q.4) If you realize that all chobots have quitted this game , what would be your efforts to bring them back
Spencer (Ans) : Well I would understand It was their decision, but I would try to figure out what they did not like about chobots and I would then probably try to suggest for changes for the game that would improve it and make it more fun or safe. I would also try to make them think of all the happy memories and make them not want to leave.
Me : Q.5) If you realize that nichos have attacked chobots again.. then what would be your attempt to save chobots?
spencer (Ans) : well I would probably call on a super squad of brave chobots and get them to help me fight against the nichos as a distraction while I do cow mission and feed daisy and try to get greenhouse gasses out of her, I will then get them to lure the nichos into the cow mssion which will cause the nichos to die.
Me : Q.6) If you could add 1 room to chobot (must be not used before) what would you add? and what would it look likeSpencer (Ans) : I would probably Add A hall of fame room, where there is some kind of hologram of a person chobot, showing a great acheivement like, Most bugs earnt, Oldest chobot, most items, most friends, highest blog veiws, Most active player etc.

Question 1: How did you find out about chobots.net? And what was your reaction when you knew that the Chobots journey would still continue?
Thomas: I learned about Chobots.net from Zoozach - his status update on Skype was "http://chobots.net/ - new Chobots! :)". I was extremely excited! I was ready to play the game again, and be reborn.
Question 2: Hmm there has been many signs with nichos... And the new classified event.. Do you think that this month we will expierence an epic fight between us Cho's Vs. Nichos?
Thomas: Well, as a Journalist, I get some of the awesome behind-the-scenes information. I can't tell you what will happen, I can't even tell you if I know anything will happen! However, my guess is that there might be a Nichos-Chobots War coming soon..Me:Wow sounds exciting!!
Question 3: There has been many new updates and some new features coming soon... What do you feel about this would it help make chobots a very chotastic fun game people will enjoy more than ever..? 
Thomas: The new features make Chobots.net just more fun overall. Staying the same, all safe and put, would get boring, but having new, exciting, and awesome things will bring excitement to the Chobots.net world!
Question 4: which agents do you think would become chotastic moderators in the future?Thomas: I think that the agents that have the potential are honestly Eggs and Gerrard16229. Both are great, friendly people, and help out a ton, and I'm sure they would make terrific moderators!
Question 5: Which moderator do you think should be promoted to an admin for doing such a very good job helping out the community with what they do best?
Thomas: Honestly, I think quite a few. Ashely, Koiz, etc... However, when I sum it down, I get with Star (Dorijan, Doki, Tovictory, Epic, etc.). He was originally an administrator, and is an amazing designer! He does tons of work and knows how to administrate a game successfully. He deserves it.
Question 6: If one of the moderators were secretly working for the nichos what would be your reaction!?
Thomas: I would be devastated! It would be a total double-cross, and a betrayal to the Chobots.net Nation. Who knows what secrets the spy might have?
Question 7: What if one of your BEST chobot friend was a nicho and it was the time of a huge battle between the nichos and chobots would you still fight your BEST friend?
Thomas: Gee, I really don't know. I never thought about it. I would not side up with my best friend, but I would try my best to avoid any fights with him.
Question 8: What if there was a secret about chobots that no one ever knew and your the only one who found out about it which the secret was that us Chobots were actually the bad guys trying to kill all the nichos. would you tell everyone or would you side with the nichos?
Thomas: I would do both. I'd spread the word WITH proof and evidence, then I'd side with the Nichos and get everyone else to do it too...... hopefully.

How was the game night? After the contests were turned on, many Chobots started running from side to side, from one location to another, from game to game, trying to win the contest and the cool prizes.

After a few hours, the contests were over and the winners have been selected. Now it is time to announce who won!

February Journalists

Helloooo!

I guess you've all been waiting for this post. We had a lot of fun looking through all the amazing, creative, funny, and artistic Chobots blogs, and we must admit... we were impressed! You Chobots are really talented at blogging. Well done, everyone!

Now of course, we wish we could've made everyone a Journalist! Unfortunately, that was not possible, so we decided to award everyone who entered and did not become a Journalist with 5000 bugs. That's our way of saying there's always a next time. Don't ever give up - those who work the hardest will be rewarded the most.

Congratulations! Becoming a Chobots Journalist is an amazing achievement, and you guys should all be proud. We were blown away by some of these Journalist blogs, and we are pleased with all the effort that was put into them. Fantastic job!
