German Unity Day / Tag der Deutschen Einheit

Hey friends!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful start into the week. This Thursday is a special day in Germany - it's the German Unity Day (German: Tag der Deutschen Einheit). 

But what is the German Unity Day and why is it so important for Germans?

German Unity Day (Tag der Deutschen Einheit) is annually held on October 3 to mark the anniversary of the nation's unification. It remembers when the Federal Republic of Germany and the Democratic Republic of Germany united to create one single, federal Germany on October 3, 1990.

We would love to celebrate this day with all of you, that's why we're going to host a party for you. It doesn't matter where you're from!

The party is going to be held on Thursday, the 3rd of October, at the Park in Chocolate at 7 P.M. Cho-Time. We will have loads of magic and German music, but also quizzes where you can win sweet prizes, too. Also, it would be cool if all of you could wear items matching the German flag (black, red, gold).

Recap: Age 0 Party!

Hey guys!

It's finally weekend and what's a better start into the weekend than a party? Yea, I'm talking about the yesterdays Age 0 Party, where we had lots of fun!
Of course we started with some beautiful colors and magic in addition to some music. Later we asked you some questions about Chobots.com and Chobots.net, such as the date of when .com and .net were released and other interesting facts about the game.

It was funny and also interesting seeing you all in age 0 outfits since nobody wears them these days anymore because they're outdated, but I think they're still an important part of the game because we kind of only had these clothes when Chobots was launched!
The team still decided to pick out the best outfits and even if it was hard we came to a decision!

Our lucky winners are Jessie, Kingkevin and Yosheh! 
Great job! You combined your outfits perfectly, so you receive 5000 bugs, 5 days of Citizenship and a trophy.

Game Night

Hey Chobots,

How's your weekend going so far? We didn't have a game night for a long time, don't you think? I'm sure that everyone missed the nights where all the users were playing different games alone and against other Chobots, earning points and winning!


That's why we are going to have a game night tomorrow (September 28th), at 9 PM Cho-time! The contest boards will be open, and you'll be able to play against the other Chobots and try to reach the first place in each game!

Note: If you won in certain game at a game night in the past, you cannot win in that game again! If you would like to win in this game night too, you will have to move to a different game, so other users will have the chance to play that game too.

Age 0 Party!

Hey guys!

The week finally comes to an end and it's almost Chobots' two year anniversary, so we decided to host an "Age 0 Party", where we will maybe even come up with some memories from chobots.com/.de/.in.

The Party takes place at the 27th of September at 7 p.m. Cho-Time at the Space Quay.
Make sure you wear stuff you used to wear when you were Age 0.
Of course we will have loads of rain and special effects! We would love to see you all there as we are going to have some quizzes, where you can win nice prizes, too!

Agents meeting

Hey friends!

I hope you had a nice start in the week and you're not too tired, especially the agents shouldn't be too exhausted, because it's time for the monthly agents meeting!

As you can see the agents meeting will take place on Wednesday, the 25th of September, at 7 p.m. Cho-Time in the Agents HQ of course. We'll discuss things such as new features, stuff you would like to see in Chobots, of course agent recommendations, too, and many other stuff.

Fanciest Gamers

Hey Chobots,

Today we hosted the first ever Chollywood Weekend. We had lots of great music, magic, rain and even some competitions! The evening began as Mike and Michael strolled on into Rope Street looking fancy as ever. The first thing we did was play some Tug O' War with some of you guys, and made our way over to Sweet Battle.

As promised, we were going to keep our eyes open for some of the fanciest players out there and we would reward them. So without further ado, I present to you.. The fanciest gamers!

Nice job guys, you all looked awesome. Please join me in congratulating Destrotant, Luna, Elmoswag and Randomzzz! We felt like they presented us with the most passion in their outfits. So in return, you've been awarded five days of Citizenship, 5000 bugs and a Sun Shield!

Chollywood Weekend!

The stars of Chollywood are out this weekend to celebrate our first Chollywood Weekend! But it's missing one thing.. You!

Pictionary and Hangman Winners

Hey Chobots,

Today Paris, Ariel and myself met with members of community in the Agents Underground for a few rounds of Pictionary and Hangman. We had a lot of good guesses out there, but it was the people that could guess and type the fastest who were crowned the winner.

Well done guys, all the winners have been awarded 5000 bugs and a gold medal! Thank you everyone for attending, and we hope to see you at the next one. Enjoy your prizes!

Trees Day Challenge!

Hello Chobots!

It's the start of a new week, which means the start of some new events! We have an interesting new challenge planned for you guys.

The Chobots Team is challenging all of you to keep every single tree in the Chobots world red for two hours straight! Do you think you can handle that? If you complete this challenge, every single person will be awarded a special prize!

This challenge will begin on Tuesday, September 17 at 12:30 PM Cho-time. You will need to make every tree red, and keep it red for two whole hours. We will be watching, so we'll know if you successfully complete it or not!

Pictionary/Hangman

Hello Chobots,

It's been awhile since the Chobots team met with it's players, and had a few fun games of Pictionary or Hangman. That's why we'd like for you to join us this Wednesday for an evening of fun and games.

If you're not too sure what either of these games are, let me explain. Pictionary  is when someone will draw something on the graffiti wall, and your job is to try and guess what it is. The first person to guess it right  will receive one point. Hangman is when you need to guess the hidden word, which is based upon the amount of spaces provided. 

If this is something that interests you, then join us September 18th, at 21:00 PM Chobots Time at the Agents Underground on the most populated server. Feel free to use the timer below, just in-case you're having a problem figuring out how much time you have left until the games begin.

New Journalists

Hey Chobots!

How's September going so far? The Summer vacation is over and some of you returned to school a few weeks ago. I wish you a happy, safe, and fun school-year!

Moving on. As you may know, the Chobots world is divided into many different groups; Juniors, citizens, agents, testers, the council, etc. One of our most popular groups is the journalists team! The journalists team consists of the best bloggers around the Chobots world.

Every journalist works very hard on his blog every month to keep it active and stylish. As a reward, each one of them will receive the following things:

•      Their blogs will be added to our journalists blogroll located in our sidebar.
•      Their blogs will be advertised in the top bar above the play window.
•      A shiny journalist badge with the names of their blogs will be added to
       their player cards.
•      They will be able to submit a post that will be published here on the main
       blog.
•      They will be able to start a private conversation with a staff member even
       if he/she blocked all incoming messages.
•      Their accounts will be awarded with a free week of citizenship,
       10,000 bugs and a feather.
•      Their name tags under their Chobots will be colored in purple.

Every month we refresh the journalists team, so other talented users will have an opportunity to show the community their skills. Now, it's time to refresh the journalists team again and look for new journalists!

If you'd like to apply, feel free to submit your blog by commenting the link under this post in the comments section.  But before you rush to submit it, please make sure that your blog contains the following criteria:

•      It must be at least one month old.
•      It should be active and weekly updated (At least 3 new posts every
       week).
•      The posts that you publish on it should be written by you - not copied
       from somewhere else (From the main blog, for example).
•      The blog should be well decorated; There's no need of massive
       decorations; A simple template and/or a header are good too. 

If you think that you have what it takes to be a journalist, feel free to submit your blog! 

Note: Blogs that will be submitted anywhere else won't be counted. 

You'll be able to submit your blog only until the 24th of September. The new journalists will be announced shortly after that.

Former journalists; If you'd like to stay in the journalists team for another month, you'll have to submit your blog too.

The contests in the Gamezone has ended. Many Chobots have participated, but after a week of competing here are the winners of the competitions!

Doodle Day: Review

Hi chobots!

We finished our very first Doodle Day and it was a blast! Lots of staff members and artist were online for a fun drawing contest. Both staff and artists drew head to head drawing a certain object in a certain time limit. I was able to get some pictures, check them out!

Introducing Doodle Days!

Are you an artist on Chobots? Do you feel like you could beat someone in a doodle contest? Well we have just the event for you! We are introducing a new event called a Doodle Day! If it goes well, we will have many more in the future.

Since this is new, you will need to know how it works, so I'll explain.

•     Everyone meets in the Artist Underground and prepares for a doodle competition between Artists and Staff members.
•     The wall will be separated into 2 halves, one for staff members, one for artist.
•     A staff member will choose a topic to draw between. Lets set an example: If the staff member says "Fruit", both the staff member, and the artist will draw fruit. But here is the catch; You'll be timed.
•     After the time runs out, it will be up to the users in the room to decide who they think drew the object better. If they choose the artist, there is a chance they'll receive something cool!

We hope you can all join us for our first Doodle Day, which will take place on Sunday, September 15th at 8:00 PM Chobots Time.

Music Bash Recap

Hey Chobots,

Today was the first ever Music Bash! There was some great music, magic and dance moves. From what I could see, everyone was having a pretty good time. There was a variety of music played during the party such as Dubstep and Electronic. 

There was many stylish players out there today, and we picked the best three that we liked the most. You guys did an awesome job creating a musical style. Everyone please give a big hand to Elthomii, Fangirl9091, and Minion!
