2nd Round of Journalists

Hi Chobots! May is just around the corner so we will need some new Journalists!

If you are unfamiliar with our program, its official name is the Journalist Program. In this program we award bloggers around Chobots who show off their skills in blog creating, posting, template building, and many other skills of blogging!

To start, the badge is in the lower-left hand corner of your playercard. It looks like this...

What's that star? Hmm...

We've also updated the badge now to change colors! Isn't that cool?

Also, we are going to be adding some new items to the Shop real soon. Keep checking!

By being a Journalist of Chobots, you get some cool features that other Chobots don't have access to.

-For one, you get your own Journalist badge right on your playercard.

-Next, you get a spot on the official Chobots blogroll for the blog you own.

-And lastly, you get a bonus of 5000 bugs a month (which is paid on the 1st of the month).

To become a Journalist of Chobots, you should try to do at least one of the following things, the more the better your chances:

1) Publish original content on your blog.
2) Help out in the Chobots community both in and out of the actual game.
3) Post on the forum to interact with other users.

You may have noticed that #1 is stating how you have to publish original content. If you're wondering what this means, it means that when you make blog posts, you should use your own words, not just copy directly from somewhere else, (like the official blog). You're free to reuse pictures, but try to reword everything into how you would say it!

Aren't those some cool rewards for blogging about Chobots? If you'd like to be a Journalist for Chobots, just send in your blog (not a blog you work on, but your own personal and stylish cool blog!) to Support and we will review it. All blogs of any age can be submitted, but remember, you can only submit once a month, so make it count! We will add more Journalists to the program based on the creativity you put into your blogging skills.

Former Journalists blogs will need to be resubmitted so we know they are still active in their blogging activity! Our Journalists will vary month to month based on their activity, skills of posting, ability to assist users both on their blogs and in game, and how much fun they can be!

Some Stylish Chobots!

Hi Chobots! Today I took a look around Chobots and WOW I saw some rockin' styles! You Chobots do know how to use your clothing to the best of your ability! I'm sure there are more stylish Cho's out there, but here are some I saw when I was looking around Chobots earlier today.

These Chobots sure do have some style! Their style will also bring them 4000 bugs each to get some more cool clothes!

Earth Day Weekend!

Hi Chobots! This weekend on Sunday is Earth Day! We're going to let the mods lose with magic all day for some cool fun! We will also have 2 major parties (one for the US time zone and one for the UK time zone) so every Cho can get involved in the action!

The 2 major parties will occur at the following times:
(A counter will appear on Saturday)
11am est and 8pm est on April 22st, 2012

Please remember to mark these times down so you do not forget to attend! There will be a lot of magic, rain, and contests!!

Agents Meeting!

Hey Agents! We will be conducting our monthly meeting this Saturday, April 21st. We hope you can all attend, but it is not mandatory. Agents who attend will help the team discuss a few different things about the upcoming month and recommendations for new agents! Hi Chobots! After a long week of video production, our team of video producers took part in creating some rockin' videos for the Earth Day contest!

Catalogs Plus!

Hi Chobots! We've updated the catalogs today with a few new items. Check them out!

Chat Bubbles!

Hi Chobots! We've been hearing many Chobots ask for this feature, so we've talked and made it happen...

CHAT BUBBLES!

Can you believe this? This is such a cool feature that has been brought to the world of Cho!

To obtain a bubble, simply go to the Shop and scroll down to the bottom section. Here you will find the chat bubbles you can buy! When you buy one, it will go to your body items panel and you can adjust your chat color from there.

We only have 60 bubbles available, so only 60 lucky people will be able to have a unique chat bubble for the first round!

You also may have seen staff wear different colored chat bubbles in the past, but from now on Staff of Chobots.net will have a RED chat bubble. This will make us easily identifiable if you require assistance.

Earth Day Videos!

Hi Chobots! We're having a cool video contest this week!

Our theme for this contest is Earth Day!

It's going to be a fun video contest for sure! To be eligible in competing your video has to start off with this beginning: You come onto Chobots and you see Nichos cutting down all the trees.

From here you need to continue with the video. We will have prizes for all entries that are eligible to compete. Isn't that cool? I know everybody likes prizes, right???

Now... You have until Saturday to finish your videos! To enter simply publish your video link here when finished on this post. The post will lock Saturday night so have it in on time!

Ropes in a knot!

Hi Chobots! Our Ropes contest has come to an end and we have some very interesting results to share with everybody. This is something that has never happened before on Chobots and the team was laughing that it finally did!

I'm very impressed, Itunez, Trillionaire, and Danabon are very clever Chobots!! They figured if they all had the same score they would all receive a prize... Well they all will get the 2nd place prize together! :)

Note to self: Make rules about a tie in contests. These Chobots are becoming too clever for me lol! Time to start thinking more clever... -Zoo

A Citizenship contest for the Juniors.

A new service

Good day Chobots. We've starting using Skype to provide more immediate support to the players. Due to using a new service, we've hired a new support worker, Jumpman!

Jumpman will be working with Zoo (me) to keep Chobots support up and functional!

To compete in this contest here are some simple instructions.
