Autumn Blogs Contest Winners

Hello Chobots,

It has been a week & a half since Jake started the blogs contest, and now it's over so it's time to post the winners! We had many wonderful entries this year. Some of them were decorated with an Autumn theme, and some of them were decorated with a Halloween theme. Both of them looked amazing!

New Agent voting feature!

Ever wanted the power to suggest a new Agent but couldn't get the word in because other users beat you to it? Well now you can without a problem!
We've recently added a new Agency voting page which gives the voters (You guys!) the option to help the Chobots staff pick new helpful Agents. This page includes a drop down list of users who have been noticed by our staff members, and you might even see more users on the list in the near future but for now we're keeping it 5-7 users per Agent poll.

We are always open to user suggestions ranging from item suggestions to new user feature suggestions. If you notice a user or friend helping out new users or seeking out to help users be sure to email support titled: (Agent suggestion) However if you are featured on the list of new possible Agents and cheat by using Alternate accounts to vote for yourself (Which we will find out) you will be removed from the running.


The voting page isn't completely finished however once we tighten a few screws you guys will be able to access it on the blog.

Almost 1 year ago, we opened Chobots.net & this blog. And finally, we've reached 500 followers!
Exactly 354 days ago Chobots.net opened for everyone (Public Beta), and finally 500 Chobots followed this blog!

I think that we should have a party for reaching 500 followers, don't you think?

Animal Party - Review

Hello Chobots,

How was the animals party 3 days ago? I hope that everyone enjoyed at the party. We had some cool magic there; Color changes, animations, rain, and some other stuff.

We started with different kinds of magic at the Echo Shop. Then we moved to the Academy Street to play some games of Sliders, Checkers and Chess there.Can you find yourself in one of the pictures?
We are going to have more parties in the future, so I hope that more people will come to party. :-)

Robo-Factory Winners!

Hi Chob's,

First we would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the Robo-Factory contest, due to you guys taking the time to play we have decided to host a lot more user vs user competitions in the future.

In the contest introduction post we informed you guys that the Top 3 users on the score board would receive the winning prizes, so without further or do let's introduce the Winners of the Robo-Factory contest!

Congratulations to Piecommander, lakshay1520, and theufo for being the top 3 users on the score board! We were honestly amazed with the result, some users spent hours playing Robo-Factory to gain ranks on the leader board.

500-Likes Party Review

Hello Chobots,

Few days ago, we had a huge party to celebrate the 500 likes that we got on our Facebook page.
I hope that the people that came to the party had fun. If you couldn't come to the party, here are some party pictures:



At the party, we moved from the Rope Street, to the Robots Arena, and then to the Shop Square. We listened to some songs, saw some color changes, saw some magic (animations) and caught some rain.

I'm sorry that some of you couldn't come to the party because of the timezones. I hope that the next parties will be in different times, so more people could come to the party.

New items and a Contest!

Who's ready for some new, rare, classic items? and a contest to attempt to win even more cool items! Sound's pretty good to us.

In other news,

Today the $hop was updated and restocked with some cool, and rare items. We've been working all day to get a complete list of items for users to purchase and we believe you guys will like the outcome of our decisions. We also plan to add new inGame Shop items so be sure to check in on that daily.

The Best Drawers!

Hello Chobots,

The time has come to announce the winners of the drawing contest Zach and I hosted. We were all very amazed at your drawing skills and we had to admit, most of you can draw better then us! Without further ado, lets see who won Chloe's event!

We choose Mandi's entry because of the colour/color she used. It looks very neat and a job well done.

Supportful's entry was beautiful. We chose his because it was one of the cutest entries we could find! Good job Supportful!

Congraulations to our Chloe event winners. All of them were OUTSTANDING! Bad luck if your entry was not chosen. Better luck next time.

Now onto Koiz's event!

Sweetneetu's entry was very tidy. It was coloured/colored in very well. Good job Sweetneetu!

 

We all loved Unfaithful's entry. It looked very detailed and was draw to perfection! Good job!

Bad luck if your entry did not win the Koiz event. There were many that were so close to being picked and better luck next time. 

Time to move onto Zoo's event!

Sketchkiid's entry was simply amazing. We loved the use of outline. Great job!

Squilloise's entry was very well drawn. It looked very realistic. Good Job!

Congratulations to our winners in the Zoo events. If your entry was not picked, keep in mind that it must've been by a fingers width.

Now last but not least, Nathan's event!

Rawrify's entry was one of the best we saw. I loved how you pictured me in a different scene. The use of the pencil directions looks very effective. Awesome job Rawrify!

We choose Adster015's entry because it looked very simple, but effective. It looks exactly like me right now! Great job!

Thanks for entering the Nathan event. I wish I could of chosen all of you. Better luck next time.

We also came accross some entries with all of us in the picture, and we felt that 2 of them deserved to win something. Lets take a look.

Buzz's entry was very well drawn. We all loved the chocolate chip cookie badge in the middle of the page. Great job.

Zoe's entry is very cute. I loved how were all posing for a photo. Amazing job.

If you didn't know, Chobots.net got a Facebook page, and a while ago, we reached 500 likes!

The Auction House is Back!

Hi Chobots, I have some exciting news to share with you!

After over 3 days of work, I've managed to reconfigure the Auction House and have it fully ready for release again. I've added some cool items I think you guys would like, including some former $hop items!

May I present, the new and improved Auction House!

I'm going to be continually working on the Auction House over the weekend fixing up any bugs that may popup, or adding some new features. If you have any issues with it, such as a blank screen once in a while, just refresh as I may be updating it. If you have an error that lasts for 5 minutes or longer, please email support with a picture and a small description on how you got to the error, and we can look through the issue!

We will be having auctions 1-2 times a week for a few items at a time, some for bugs and others for real money. We will put items into the Auction House based on what you guys really want. Simply leave us a comment on this blog post, and we will go through them and pick out some well liked items for the Auction House!

Lets Get Drawing!

Hey Chobots,

I think it's time for a drawing contest, don't you? The Chobots Team has been talking about some ideas, and we feel that drawing is a skill quite a few Chobots have currently. We'd like you to draw one of the four staff members listed below. You can publish your drawing on this post up until Setember 15th.
Please note this contest is an in real life contest only, and only drawings done in real life will be eligible to receive a prize!

Users will be judged on creativity so remember to be creative!
Depending on the number of entries, we will have up to 2 winners for each of the four staff members. You can draw the Chobot or the whole playercard. We might be giving the winners a Basia/Le suit, so make sure this is your best work ever! Good luck!

Garbage Collector Contest Winners!

Hello Chobots,

1 week ago, we started a Garbage Collector contest, to assist Chistochob with the city cleaning.
The contest is over, and I think that they city looks great. Chistochob was very happy to hear that.

I think that we should announce the contest winners, don't you think?
1st place - Frappuccinov: 10,000 bugs, 10 days of Citizenship, 1st place medal.
2nd place - Gtgt: 7,000 bugs, 7 days of Citizenship, 2nd place medal.

The Auction House!

Hi Chobots!

Recently, you may have seen some staff talking about the Auction House, a new feature here at Chobots! This is a place where you can place bids using either bugs or real money to obtain different things on our game

Earlier today, we pulled down the auction system for rebuilding, and after hours of maintenance, I'm proud to announce that the Auction House is back online!

Since I had to pull it down for 7 hours to fix everything up, I've put a few citizenships and a segway for you guys to bid on! I'm really hoping you guys enjoy our improved service, as we try to improve everything here at Chobots.

Mr. Auction

If you have a request for an item you'd like to see in the Auction House, feel free to comment it on this post, and we will take a look and possibly put some of the items in the Auction House in the near future!

Please remember that when using the Auction House, if you bid bugs and/or money, you're making a commitment to pay the final sum if you win. If you bid bugs and win the auction your account will be charged for the bid and the item awarded. If you do not have enough bugs when our team goes into charge your account, you will no longer be allowed to use the Auction House.

When bidding real money, you have to remember to ask your parents first and set a limit for yourself. The winner of the auction will have 24 hours to contact support and be able to pay for your winning bid(s). If you're unable to purchase the item(s) from the Auction House and you bid real money, you will no longer be allowed to use the Auction House, and you risk your account being banned! Please take all bidding seriously, similar to other websites, such as eBay.

If you have any questions about the Auction House, or anything involving Chobots, feel free to email us at support and we will happily respond.

Scrapbook Contest Winners

Hello Chobots,

The scrapbook contest is over, and it's time to post the winners. I have to say, that your scrapbooks amazed me! Every one of you had a great summer, and I enjoyed reading the entries. Suddenly, only 3 people can win. It was very hard to choose the winners, a lot of entries were pretty cool too!

In 1st place, we got Critic, with a very unique and creative entry! Critic's entry is ocean-themed; the writer of the scrapbook was eaten by a shark, and the scrapbook sank at the ocean. Critic gets 20 days of Citizenship, 20,000 bugs, and a medal!

In 2nd place, we got Vilt, with a wonderful entry! I really liked your story Vilt, you probably had a pretty cool summer. The design of the scrapbook is pretty cool too! Vilt gets gets 15 days of Citizenship, 15,000 bugs, and a medal!

In 3rd place, we got Blik3, with an awesome animated scrapbook! Blik had an awesome summer, and I'm sure that he had fun. Blik gets 10 days of Citizenship and 10,000 bugs!

Also, some of you may think that I chose Critic, Vilt and Blik3 as winners just because they are agents, or because they are my friends, but I have to tell you, that they won because their entries are amazing, and they deserve to win.
