It's finally time for one of the coolest yearly celebrated event, which is observed in a number of countries on the 31st of October - it's Halloween!
Can you believe this is our third Halloween together? On this occasion the Cho-Team wishes all of you a Happy Halloween!

We all like to celebrate this event, yet do we really know what Halloween is all about? Here are some spooky facts to start off your day:

•     Ireland is typically believed to be the birthplace of Halloween about 2000 years ago
•     The first Jack O'Lanterns were actually made from turnips
•     Samhainophobia is the fear of Halloween
•     The owl is a popular Halloween image. In Medieval Europe, owls were thought to be witches
•     Halloween is the second highest grossing commercial in advertising
•     Some towns in the U.S. have Halloween theme names, for example: Frankenstein, Mo.; Scary, W.Va.; Spook City, Colo., Candy Town, Ohio
•     Many people mistakenly believe that Valentine's Day is the national holiday with the most candy sales, though statistics reveal that more than twice as many chocolates are sold for Halloween than Valentine's day

Halloween Costume Party

Hey Chobots,

My favorite time of the year if finally here! What am I talking about? Halloween of course, and I want to celebrate it with you guys.

The Best Farmers

Hey Chobots,

A few days ago, we asked you to help stuff Daisy up for the rest of the month - and that's just what you did! The competition was super close, and at some points the scores were neck and neck.

Please join me in congratulating Godlight, Darcy and Elmoswag, these three Chobots did a stupendous job at making sure they made it to the top.

Spooky Video Contest

Tug O' War Winners

Hey Chobots,

After a three day period of brutal competition, the Tug O' War contest has come to an end. The battle was tough, and there could only be three winners.

Please join me in congratulating Sweetz, Godlight and Epiceagle2714 on a job well done. In first place we have Sweetz who has been awarded 5 days of Citizenship, 5000 bugs and a first place medal! Following closely behind we have Godlight, who has earned 4 days of Citizenship, 4000 bugs and a second place medal. Daisy Needs You!

Hey Chobots,

It's been about a month now, and not many people have been stopping by the farm to feed Daisy. And we need you to help stuff Daisy up, so we've opened a farming contest for you to participate in.

Starting today, October 25th all the way through October 27th, you will have a chance to accumulate as many points as you can and try and make your way to the top of the leaderboards. As always, the top three competitors will be awarded some sweet prizes.

Good luck, and remember to play fairly! Cheating in anyway is not allowed, so if you have reason to believe someone is cheating, please email support (support@chobots.net) with proof.

Game night!

Hey guys!

What a beautiful feeling if you know the weekend is near - no school, no homework, just chilling and playing Chobots! But we don't want you to just stand there at the Cafe Street, stare at your screen and do nothing, so we decided to host another game night this weekend, where you can challenge other Chobots-players in different minigames.

The game night will be held on the 26th October, at 7 P.M. Cho-Time. We're going to open the scoreboards for every single game for 2 hours, which means you have time till 9 P.M. Cho-Time to prove the users that you're the best "Chobots-Minigame-Player".
Of course the winners of every game can expect great prizes!

If you're having problems figuring out how much time is left until the game night you can use this timer below:

If you notice anyone cheating during Game Night, report the Chobot with proof to support@chobots.net. Your report will assist us to ensure Game Night is as fair as possible for everyone.

Also, we decided, that the winners of the last game night, can not win again at the same game!

New Journalists wanted!

How's October going so far? Unfortunately the month is nearly coming to an end, though it has a good side, too - beside cool events being hosted on Chobots in the following few days and weeks, it's time for the new Journalists!

If you're interested in applying please make sure you fulfill these conditions:

•     Your blog should be at least one month old and updated weekly
•     The posts on your blog should be written by yourself. You may not copy them from other blogs or websites.
•     Your blog should be well structered and neatly arranged

Oh, yeah, that sounds maybe boring and you think "Why should I even apply?", and of course I can answer you this question!

Agents Meeting!

Yay, finally another week comes to an end and it's almost weekend! However, the agents might still need to wait a little bit for their weekend, because we're gonig to have our monthly Agents Meeting!

Tug O' War Contest

Hey Chobots,

It sure has been awhile since we've had a Tug O' War contest here on Chobots, hasn't it? Well it's time to change that! The Chobots Team has opened up a contest over in Rope Street for everyone to participate in.

This contest will go on staring today - Tuesday, October 22nd through Friday, October 25th. At the end of the week, we will announce the winners. The top three contestants will receive some sweet prizes!

Please remember that cheating is forbidden! If you find a user cheating in a contest, report them to support@chobots.net. Don't forget to attach visual evidence of the occasion to your email, it will prove that your report is correct.

It's been a pretty busy weekend, don't you think? We had a party, a design contest, and a coins rain contest! After 3 long days with 58 entries, it's finally time to announce the winners!

Design a Costume: Results!

Hi Chobots!
After looking through many spooky, scary, and creepy costumes that users designed, I was able to find a few designs that really stood out with Halloween spirit!

First we have Godlight with his design of Skeleton Wings! Very nice job, Godlight! I love how the wings really capture the Halloween spirit.

Second off, we have  Jazzy with her design of Little Red Riding Hood. Its very neatly done, and the shading looks awesome. Great job!

Next we have Sweetz with her design of The Mad Hatter! The details in this costume really show! The shading is spectacular and you can  just tell how crazy this costume is!

                                            

We also have Twirl's design of Cookie Monster! It may not be that scary, but it is a nice costume to have in your wardrobe! Nice job!

Lastly we have Willkdh, with his Cat Costume! Its very neatly done, and shows all angles. Black cats always make me think of Halloween.

Congratulations to all 4 of you! As promised, you will win A week of citizenship, 5000 bugs, and the item you designed!

Freedom Party: Recap

Well, after a fun magic-filled party celebrating our freedom from the Nichos, we were thrown for a loop...

On the bright side, we had a fun party with magic, music, and rain.. Take a look!

During our fun, Mike and I picked out winners of who we thought had the best blue and purple outfits!

Congrats to Alert, Bluewonder, and Yosheh! Your outfits were awesome!

But after a power-outage, the servers crashed! We were able to get a few pictures of what happened next:

That's right.. We were tricked! Ghost was plotting with King Nicho this whole time. King Nicho has declared war against us. He has threatened to steal important figures, and also told us "I hope you like purple!" 

For now, we have to remain calm. We can only hope this is an early April Fools prank!

Coins Rain!

Hey Chobots,

How was your week? Halloween will occur in exactly 2 weeks, I can't wait! What about you; What is your costume for this year? Of course, Halloween will be celebrated on Chobots too. I cannot tell you much about the event, but I can assure you that it's gonna be a blast!

It's been a while since we had an actual in-game contest, so the team and I decided to host a weekend "Coins Rain" contest!

The contest began today; Thursday, October 17th, and will last until Saturday, October 19th.
The winners will be awarded with some cool prizes!

Celebrating Freedom!

Hey Chobots

Good news! I spoke with a user named "Ghost" and he informed me that the nichos have officially surrendered! Being a ghost and channeling darkness everywhere he went. I had no choice but to ban him from the Chobots world..

But..in honor of being Nicho-free, we've decided to hold an awesome party! Since there will be no more Nichos or scary darkness, what better way to celebrate with colorful magic!? Meet us at Mission Street in your best Blue and Purple outfits on Friday October 18th at 8:00 PM Chobots Time to celebrate our freedom from the Nichos!

Clothes Refresh

Hey Chobots,

How is your weekend going so far?
Sadly, summer is over and autumn has begun. It's nearly that time again... Halloween! Since it's getting colder and the evenings are getting dark earlier, the Chobots Team thought that we should get rid of the summer clothes and add a bunch of new items to the shop!

Halloween is approaching fast, and we invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual Design a Costume Contest! We want to see what you can think of. You can draw a design on paper, and take a picture/copy it to the computer, or design it on your computer! (You may have a better chance at winning if you use this template)

2 Years Celebration Recap

Game Night

Hey Gamers,

How's your week going so far? This Saturday we're going to have a Game Night. It's your chance to show everyone that you're the best player at your favorite game on chobots!


As you can see from the picture above, the Game Night will start on Saturday, October 12th at 7 P.M. Cho-Time.
During Game Night, all scoreboards will be enabled for two hours. That means you can participate in a contest of your choice. You'll be able to play against other Cho's and try to reach the first place in each game.
All 1st place winners will receive epic prizes, such as:

•       Citizenship
•       Game Controller 
•       Bugs
