Hi Chobots!
This is a quick reminder to let you all know that all staff members have a badge of some kind in-game to ensure their authenticity. Users who claim to be a staff member and don't have a: moderator, staff, support, or developer badge on their Chobot are not to be trusted. Furthermore, all official emails are sent from an @chobots.net email address. Some people have been sending fake emails from a different kind of server that allows you to edit the "from" field. Do not give ANY account information to anyone claiming to be a Chobots staff member. A Chobots staff worker will never ask you for your: Address, password, email, credit card, or ANY personal information. If you have been emailed by members of the Chobots team and their email address does not end with @chobots.net, do not believe them. Please ignore such emails. Thank you!

Be careful!!
Attention, Chobots!
It has come to our attention that some users have been creating 3rd-party programs to steal your user information! They tell you it's an easy way to log into Chobots, but actually your username and password will be sent in an e-mail to the creators of these programs. Do not enter your password in these programs!!
To keep your account, bugs, clothes, magic etc. safe from the scammers/phishers, do not EVER give out your password to ANYBODY (not even your family), no matter what kind of things they offer you. Once we find out someone else has logged into your account, we ban your account for safety measurements. Asking for someone else's password will also be taken VERY seriously, even if you don't succeed!
I cannot stress enough how important this is. We do not offer refunds or any sort of compensation for citizenship, so if you paid for it and your account gets stolen, valuable citizen days will be lost. If you are an agent, your status will be revoked for failing to comply with one of the most basic rules of them all, and all your hard work will be lost.
Do not log into Chobots from any other site than http://chobots.net/. We do not approve of other websites claiming to provide a faster connection/reduced lag to Chobots. You are responsible for your own account. Be careful!

To celebrate the end of 2011, we want to have a fun party with you all!! Meet us at ROPE STREET this Saturday, the 31st of December, at 11 PM Cho-Time (6PM EST). Wear your LEAST favorite outfit! Prepare for some rain ;)
