It's time for the Agent recommendations! Woohoo! On this blog post leave a comment with the Chobots usernames of two people you think deserve the Agent badge! Your recommendation will only be valid if you write at least two sentences that explain why the person should become an Agent.

Adster015: Adster015 is really helpful whenever he's online. He's a friend who you can always count on, and has a kind soul. Adster015 is not only good at art as well, but he's good at being a leader, and setting a great example.
In my opinion, those two would make a great addition to the agent team :)

My original thoughts on who should be the next agent have changed.
ReplyDeleteToday, I decided to test the most voted users by going on "new" accounts. This proved to work very well.
First, I asked Spencer if he could teach me how to buy clothes. He actually brought me to the shop and complimented my style. Then, he danced with me and we had a little talk. I told him he has done a great job. He has proved to me that you can help a user in any circumstance. In the past, I hadn't seen him working very hard for the badge. But now, I believe he has his heart set on the badge and is very capable of achieving his dreams. I also tested some users before they knew about the poll, and Spencer was first to step up.
He is also helpful in the forum and on a chat group in Skype.
So great job! My first vote goes to:
Spencer.
After I tested out Spencer on a new account, I went around asking for help. A few users stepped up to help, like ifightalot, bluezorogirl13 and ducky. Props to them. But the person that stood out the most was Blooper9206. I asked, out loud, "How do you throw a ball?". Blooper was quick to step up and teach me, step by step, how to throw the ball's by the tree. When I missed, he cheered me on and told me "You can do it!". When I finally accomplished the task, he told me "Woo! Great job!". He had been very supportive, helpful and patient with a "new user".
Besides being helpful in-game, he has also proved himself to be quite helpful when he does visit the forums. He has also been helpful to me on Skype. So my 2nd vote goes to:

Hi I'm kind of new to chobots but people have helped me when iFirst joined.
ReplyDeleteiRecommend drytoby because she first introduced me to chobots and she showed me how to get clothes and played games to help me get bugs so she would be good 4 the job.
My second recommendation will have to be kumara to become an agent because iSpotted her giving three other chobots a tour and she asked me if iWanted a tour around and she became a close friend of mine within a matter of time and when iHave a problem iMessage her on skype and my problems dissapear and she supports me through everything.

My second reccomendation has to go to 'Icestormz'. He may not be very active, but when he is online he helps to his full ability and takes time on his work. He doesn't rush through it. He makes sure the user is assisted in the best way possible. He also keeps an eye out for bad users and when he spots one, he makes the appropriate action.

ReplyDeleteFirst off is Gerrard16229. Inspired by ComeBacKiid I went undercover.
Gerrard was the first of two to help me, Vasa12345 wanted to help, too. I asked him how to get clothing. I should've phrased it better. I meant to get him to tell me how to get to my wardrobe, which is a little more complicated. Either way he took me to the shop. I asked him where the shirts were and he kindly pointed me in the direction of the shirts catalog.
After buying the shirts I hopped on to the basic question: How do I get bugs?

Vasa and Gerrard brought me to the Gamezone. I soon asked them about the leader boards. Vasa and Gerrard both told me about the competitions and even Game Night. They went beyond the boards and told me all about Game Night! Superb job!

Icestormz was encouraging me after I beat myself up for being ignorant of "new" users. He encouraged me a lot even when I thought I'd never be an agent because I was so ignorant of new users, but he helped me forget about it, move on and work harder!

1) Chalk - She's been my friend since the beginning, and she has been the kindest Chobot you could meet since she joined. If anything, she deserves it the most to me.
2) Program - I know that she's been agented and de-agented before, but I've seen her actions since then. She has done so much for others, it's unbelievable. She really deserves a second chance!
3)Masteroid - Such a friendly guy! He never begs to others from where I see him, and I know that he would make a great agent! :)

Hi its casterina2 I would recommend sky12 to be an agent!!! He is really kind and thoughtful and his blog is amazing!!!! i have seen him help so many people and i think he deserves it, he has a heart out of many chobots i have seen and is always positive, he never thinks of himself, he is more selfless then selfish, he is amazing and i really hope you give him a chance!!!!!!! his blog is not named after him its named after all chobots and it basically is called chobotsunited!!!! he is also so influantial to me and to others, i used to make many mistakes yaniv came to me and spoke to me about my behavior before and then he started telling me about how it feels to follow the rules and it made me follow many rules that i didnt, he is sooooo helpful and inspirational and influantial!!!!!!!!! As you can see this is why i think he should be agent he was my rolemodel even though im older than him on chobots!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWell, it's not a popularity contest. The reason the Chobots Team makes these recommendation posts is because they need to find new agents to help other Chobots, warn bad users and keep the place safe. Agents may be popular, but it really isn't that.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, it wasn't made for popularity. But we all know its still based on that. That's why I worry about what some new agents may be. Instead of keeping the enviorment safe, they could pretty much mess it up. You have a point yes, but there is another side of it.

ReplyDeleteAgents role in Chobots is to help new chobots learn about the chobot world. They can do this by giving tours, answering questions, and many other ways. Another job agents have are to help moderators find and take action against Nichos (bad users who cheat/use bad language). Another thing agents do is help spreading news about Chobots on their blogs and invite their friends to join. Agents are regularly active in the game and know all the rules. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask them!
