Culture Research Winners

5k a Day - A Guide to Earning Bugs

We often underestimate the power of simple games found on Chobots. When played enough times, these can earn you enormous amounts of bugs! For those of you who think earning bugs is a challenge, I'm here to prove that anybody can make up to 5,000 bugs daily!
Below is a basic breakdown of how many points/games you should play in order to earn enough bugs.

As you can see, if you play the right games enough times, you can be making over 150,000 bugs per month! Of course, this will involve a lot of commitment and perseverance, but in the end it will surely pay off.

Culture Research Contest

Our community here in the Chobots world is incredibly diverse and unique, since we all come from different places and celebrate different cultures. Whether you're from Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, or the Americas, you have a special culture that you call your own, and it should be celebrated!

With that being said, do you consider yourself an expert on any culture? Now is your chance to prove that! We will be hosting a research contest centered around different worldwide cultures.

Monday, January 20th is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On that day people celebrate the things Martin Luther King Jr. did. Martin Luther King Jr. was a man who fought for black rights and freedom. So on Sunday we're going to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Chobots! Here is the party info:

Hello friends!

What's up? I hope you had a great start into the week, though it's hard to get up early in the morning, especially on Mondays. Valentine's Day Design Contest

Hello Chobots,

I hope all of you are having a great new year so far! A new year means we get to enjoy our favorite holidays all over again. Next month, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day! Chobots needs your help. Grab a pen, pencil or a mouse and design us some Valentine's Day items. The designs have to be Valentine's Day themed of course. You can design the items by drawing them on paper, on your computer or any other way you can think of. Just make sure that if you are drawing them on paper that we can clearly see your design. Click here for the template for designs if you will use a computer.

You have until Friday, 24th January to complete and submit these designs. Submit your entries in the comment section below. Winners will receive 1 week of Citizenship, 5,000 Bugs and their design.

Game Night

Hi Chobots!

I hope all of you had a great Christmas and a good start into the year 2014. I'm sure you guys had loads of fun the past days and enjoyed your Christmas break! Since a new year has begun, it's time for the first Game Night in 2014, don't you agree?

As you can see from the picture above, the Game Night will start on Sunday, January 12th at 8 P.M. (20:00) Cho-Time. Game Night is held every few weeks, during this event all competition boards are enabled. You can participate in the contests, and win some cool prizes like:

January 2014: Journalist

Hello Chobots!

As with each start to the month, Chobots is looking for new writers to join our Journalist program. This program allows members of the community to showcase their distinguished blogs.

Welcome to the first Journalist cycle of 2014! Below are the requirements that your site must meet to apply for Journalism.

•     Your blog should be at least one month old and updated weekly.
•     The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.
•     At least 1 active blogger and no more than 4 bloggers.

Journalists are rewarded with many wonderful perks, such as:

•     Your blog will be featured on the play page
•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard
•     In the beginning of the month, each member of your blog will receive one week of free Citizenship*
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically
•     You will be invited to write one blog post here on the Official Blog

Happy New Years Eve

Hello Chobots,

The year of 2013 is almost behind us and all over the world, people are celebrating the new and upcoming year. To kick off the New Year, we celebrated Chobots style! We met in Rope Street and started jamming out to some great music while dancing and chatting along. A bit later, we moved on over to Rockemall Street where it was decorated with some pretty sweet decorations. Here, check out these photos from the party, just in-case you missed the party!

2013 has been an outstanding year for the world of Chobots, and it's been a blast getting to know you all. Lets hope 2014 brings more awesome memories.
